Sea Horse

How do we imagine the horizon? Eugene likes how everything is blended in a haze.
Do you have any ideas of creating a veil like that? Water color has it's limitations. Could we go with a video element? Like what if we got a fish tank, filled it with green water, put a strong light behind it, and then tried chroma keying out the green? Is that just weird, a nightmare in post, or something consider/improve upon?
yeah this picture is amazing. great colors and poise. it doesn't even look underwater. it looks like clouds shot from an airplane with super 8.
